Timeline — Personal Activity Memory

  • New Timeline view helps you remember what you worked on across your Mac throughout the day.
  • See activity across apps, documents, websites, and other work in a visual day timeline with real start times and durations.
  • Activity is grouped into meaningful sessions so related work stays together while short app switches do not fragment your day.
  • Open a Timeline activity to return to its context, including available files, folders, links, titles, and the originating app.
  • Use Summary to quickly understand where your time went during the day.
  • Ask SOBA about your activity with natural questions such as what you worked on yesterday or when you were using a particular app.
  • Activity Memory is local to your Mac and can be turned on or paused whenever you choose.

Clipboard

  • Clipboard History keeps track of what you copy on your Mac, with the newest clips at the top so you can browse through and find something you copied earlier.
  • Edit copied text before using it again, and pin important clipboard content so it stays easy to find.
  • Use built-in clipboard actions to view, clean up, transform, inspect, or reuse copied content directly from SOBA.

Workspaces

  • Collect related items into lightweight Workspaces and resume them when you are ready.
  • Add captured items directly to a Workspace from SOBA's contextual actions.

Smarter capture

  • Improved context-aware collection across Quick Capture, drag and drop, and Screen Edge.
  • SOBA recognizes more of what you collect and surfaces useful next actions.
  • Tracking-number carrier disambiguation and Add to Contacts for detected phone numbers and email addresses.

Reliability

  • Health Check helps verify Screen Edge, Quick Capture, Clipboard Peek, iCloud sync, Sharing, and local storage.
  • Improved Screen Edge, drag-and-drop, multi-select, and general reliability across SOBA.
