Turn on Activity Memory from Timeline to see your day across apps, documents, and websites. Use Summary to understand where your time went, open an activity to return to its context, or Ask SOBA questions about what you worked on. You can pause Activity Memory whenever you choose.
Press ⌥ S to open SOBA from anywhere. Type, paste, or drop content and SOBA will show relevant actions.
Drag a file toward your configured SOBA edge — right, left, top, or bottom — and place it on the shelf temporarily.
Use Later to bring an item or piece of context back tonight, tomorrow, this weekend, or at another time.
Pin keeps screenshots, images, or other references visible above your work.
Use Share to send selected files, URLs, or text to a trusted destination.
SOBA changes available actions based on the item type, including images, PDFs, folders, URLs, JSON, timestamps, and commands.
SOBA recognizes tracking numbers, flight details, phone numbers, and email addresses and surfaces useful next actions, including Add to Contacts.
Use Health Check from the menu bar to verify Screen Edge, Quick Capture, Clipboard Peek, iCloud sync, Sharing, and local storage, and fix common setup issues.
SOBA flags duplicate drops and clearly marks shelf items whose original source file was moved or deleted, preventing actions that would fail.
If a file was recently moved through SOBA, use Put It Back to restore it to its original location when available.
If a feature isn't working, check macOS System Settings for the permission related to that feature.
For the direct version, open the SOBA DMG, move SOBA into Applications, then launch it from Applications.
Use the arrow keys to move through shelf items, Quick Capture results, and Actions. Press Enter to open or run the selected default action.
When you clear or remove a reversible SOBA item, use the temporary Undo action if you change your mind.
Optional iCloud sync can keep supported preferences and pins aligned across Macs signed in to your Apple account.
SOBA can stay quiet during an active Focus by suppressing resurfacing cards and click sounds.
Use fuzzy search to find shelf items even when you remember only part of a filename or phrase.

Paste or capture text or a URL, then choose Create QR Code. Scan it with any phone Camera app. The phone does not need SOBA installed.
